1-2-1 Pregnancy Yoga and Mother Blessingways

DISCOVER PREGNACY 121 YOGA

It was 2012 when I first stepped onto a Yoga mat as a student wanting to help reduce stress and anxiety, my love and passion then grew as I wanted to share with others the life changing effects a Practice of Yoga had offered me, going on to train as a Yoga teacher. My practice both on and off the mat has led me to wonderful world of holistic wellness enhancing my passion to work with all, especially women.

My nursing experience has always given me the compassion and empathy to
feel, to be aware and Intune to what people need in that given moment and I have always felt that my nursing and holistic practices intertwine beautifully.

Having a greater understanding of the body and anatomy, illnesses and injuries through nursing and this gives me greater knowledge to apply in my Yoga teaching. Likewise using my guidance of breathing techniques and calming nature I find helps clients in situations that are tricky to navigate.

Client Testimonial ~ Pregnancy Yoga

My yoga journey started a good few years ago now. It started for my body, but it is also now for my mind. Rachel always makes me feel welcome with her warm smile. The class is non-judgemental, I never feel uncomfortable if I find a pose challenging, Rachel makes sure of that, with her kind reminders, to be kind to ourselves. The classes aren’t too serious but are very respectful. My favourite postures are forward fold, child’s pose and downward dog. It’s a cliche to say, but yoga with Rachel has saved my life.
