DISCOVER CLOSING OF THE BONES
I am truly honoured to be able to pass on to women this beautiful ancient practice shared in times gone by and still to this day within communities where woman supported each other without judgement and unwavering kindness.
I have created an offering combining the Closing of the Bones Massage with my own ritual of weaving in of sound therapy, crystal energies and spoken
word. This practice includes physical closure of the skeletal system and the spiritual wisdom of celebration and transition of returning home to your yourself whilst being supported emotionally.
Using 7 rebozos (mexican woven scarves) to rock and sift the body before moving into the binding and closure of the body from head to toe, and then into ritual.
This practice is rooted heavily in Mexican and Latin American cultures, but many similar variations are practiced all over the world. During pregnancy and childbirth significant changes happen within the mother’s body and this practice helps to make that transition back to its original state of being before childbirth, acknowledging changes and promotes healing and closure after the birthing process.

Client Testimonial ~ Closing Of The Bones
I wasn’t sure what to fully expect from Closing Of The Bones ceremony but Rachel instantly made me feel relaxed and safe. It’s such a wonderful, balancing and calming experience.
I find it hard to relax and switch off, but the whole experience was so relaxing that to be honest, I lost all concept of time. It left me feeling much more at ease, calmer, more ‘together’ and able to process my feelings.
Thank you Rachel for a truly magical and hugely beneficial experience!

Yoni Steaming
Yoni steaming is a wellness practice in which a person sits over a container of hot water infused with herbs, allowing warm vapour to reach the external genital area (the vulva). The term “yoni” comes from Sanskrit which can mean “womb,” “source,” “origin,” or the female reproductive organs and is often used to refer to the female reproductive system. However, the practice of steaming the genital area is not unique to India and developed independently in multiple cultures.
